Laing, 24, suffered a spinal cord injury after striking the boards, and is recovering at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Her positive attitude has earned her the admiration of many, including Rob Gronkowski.
Laing tweeted her support and excitement Saturday night after the win.
Though she couldn't be there for the win, on Sunday, her teammates visited her at Spaulding Hospital, bringing the Isobel Cup to her.
