Daily Talker: Miss Universe Mix-Up

Comedian Steve Harvey is apologizing for a mix-up at the Miss Universe pageant. He announced that Miss Colombia won the title. After several minutes of celebration, he told the crowd and the viewers at home that he needed to apologize. The host admitted he read the card wrong and they crowned the wrong contestant. The crown was then taken away from Miss Colombia and given to Miss Philippines. Harvey tweeted that this was "an honest mistake." People on social media couldn't stop talking about it. #MissUniverse2015 was quickly trending.
