Daily Talker: Marriage Proposal Over Text

The recent severe weather stranded thousands of travelers at airports across the country. So, what do you do when you're stranded?

One man proposed to his girlfriend. But, she wasn't at the airport with him. The man had the ring with him, he took a picture of it and texted her.

A local news outlet in Chicago said the text was simple, "Marry me." She texted back a yes and another message saying she was, "balling her eyes out. OMG."

Is this a sign of the times? Is it appropriate in the age of texting and social media? Would you text a proposal or accept one via text?
