Daily Talker: Black Friday Shopping

What's in store for Black Friday? One Massachusetts city does not want to see people lining up to shop at midnight.

The Salem City Council unanimously rejected an appeal by Walmart to open its Highland Avenue store at 1am on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Instead, the store will open at its regular time of 7am. One city councilor told the Boston Globe he's not a fan of the early shopping. He believes everyone, workers and shoppers, should be able to enjoy their holidays.

What do you think about the city council's decision? Should stores be allowed to open early for Black Friday?
