Human Remains Discovered Near Wareham Shopping Plaza
WAREHAM (CBS) – Police are investigating after a person searching for a lost item stumbled upon human remains near a shopping plaza in Wareham.
The discovery was made Monday around noon near Cranberry Plaza.
A person was looking for something when they found the skeletal remains in an area of thick vegetation.
Police said it is not known how long the remains had been there.
The Plymouth District Attorney's office said the remains appear to belong to a man. He has not yet been identified.
