Couple Who Survived Marathon Bombings Given Dream Wedding

ASHEVILLE, NC (CBS) - Two survivors of the Boston Marathon bombings will be sharing a dream wedding on Friday in North Carolina.

Rebekah Gregory and her boyfriend-at-the-time Peter DiMartino were both at the finish line when the bombs exploded. After 15 surgeries, Gregory, who lives in Houston, Texas still faces the possibility of having to have her leg amputated.

DiMartino lost 90 percent of his right Achilles tendon and suffered multiple broken bones in his ankle. He has undergone surgeries and months of physical therapy.

After becoming engaged, the couple was chosen as the winners of a competition on TheKnot.com for a free dream wedding.

The wedding ceremony will air live on TheKnot.com starting Friday at 11 a.m.
