Bruins Krejci 'Feels Fine' After Hit In Game 3

BOSTON (CBS) - As Patrice Bergeron returned from a concussion in Game 3 against the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Boston Bruins had a scare with another one of their impact players.

At the end of the first period, David Krejci was hit with the shoulder of Tampa Bay forward Marc-Andre Bergeron. Krejci had just received a pass in the neutral zone when Begeron came barreling into him. Krejci returned to the Bruins bench, and did not play the final minute and a half of the period.

It was a scare for the Bruins, but Krejci says he feels fine.

"I was a little sore, but I feel pretty good," Krejci said after the Bruins 2-0 Game 3 win over the Lightning.

The Bruins first-line center did not take exception to the hit, and said he did not see Bergeron coming his way.

"The guys told me that (Bergeron) just came off the bench," said Krejci. "I didn't even see him. They gave me a little heads up, so I got a little ready for it. If they didn't give me a heads up on the bench, then I would get hit and in a relaxed body and it'd be maybe way worse. But I feel fine."

Krejci has been a big part of the Bruins postseason success. He scored his team-leading seventh goal of the playoffs Thursday night, the eventual game-winner, and is second on the team with 12 points in 14 games.
