Brandon Lloyd: 'I Admire Tom Brady'

BOSTON (CBS) -- Free-agent wide receiver Brandon Lloyd has made it clear in the past that he wants to play in Josh McDaniels' offense again, and the 30-year-old reiterated that point on Monday.

"I would like to entertain that and see where that goes," Lloyd told ProFootball Talk Live when asked about the idea of joining the Patriots this offseason. "I've made no bones about that. I've been very successful in Josh's offense. I admire Tom Brady. I admire what that organization has done.  I admire that organization and how they run things over there. I'd definitely be interested in hearing how I could possibly fit into that equation."

Lloyd shined in McDaniels' offense in Denver in 2010, catching 77 passes for 1,448 yards in what was by far the best statistical season of his career. The two worked together again last year in St. Louis, and Lloyd was able to haul in 51 passes for 683 yards and five touchdowns in 11 games with the NFL's lowest-scoring offense.
