Boy Drowns At Nantucket's Steps Beach
NANTUCKET (CBS) – A seven-year-old boy has died after he was pulled from the water at a Nantucket beach.
Police received multiple calls that the unresponsive boy was pulled from the water at Steps Beach, on the North Shore of the island.
People at the beach began giving the boy CPR until public safety officials arrived and took over the resuscitation efforts.
The boy was transported to the Nantucket Cottage Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
