On the weekends, the only thing better than sleeping in late is getting brunch with family and friends. Boston's restaurant scene offers a variety of affordable, delicious breakfast meals and drinks. Some places have a more casual feel, but there are several fancier spots that are perfect for special occasions. Many restaurants have indoor and outdoor seating to accommodate for all seasons. Regardless, there's no way to go wrong with these brunch spots in Boston.

Appropriately named after its cafeteria-themed menu, this trendy restaurant on Newbury Street prides itself on being consistently fresh and local. Cafeteria only serves free-range chicken and grass-fed beef and lamb. The tasty brunch selection includes huevos rancheros, smoked salmon platter, French toast with whipped maple cream, and the side of garlic herb home fries. They are served best with a traditional Mimosa or a fancier "Lilosa", a mix of champagne and chilled pink grapefruit juice. Reservations can be made online for up to 20 people.

Known for the creative option to build your own Bloody Mary, Stephanie's is a very happening spot for brunch. In warm weather, the outside seating area is the perfect place for people-watching while waiting for food to be served. The food quality is well worth the high-end prices. The pecan crusted warm goat cheese salad is a very popular brunch option. More breakfast-style meals that people love to order are breakfast quesadillas and vegetable omelettes. Some traditional dishes on the brunch menu include buttermilk pancakes served with either cinnamon apples or chocolate chips, eggs any style with bacon, and their daily omelette mixed with fresh, market vegetables. The smoked salmon omelette is a great choice for anyone looking to add an extra kick to their meal. Most importantly, the Regal Beagle offers two types of Bloody Marys to supplement a delicious brunch: the Veggie Mary and Caliente Mary. The kitchen serves brunch until 3 p.m. every day of the week and tweets the specials of the day from @BeagleBrookline.

Nothing says "brunch" like a Pajama Rum Punch! This drink is one of eight delicious morning cocktails at Tremont 647. Tremont 647 is also known for their Mexican and Vanilla iced coffees as well as their Bottomless cup of coffee for only $3.25. Just in time for the Fall, Tremont 647 has pumpkin pancakes on their brunch menu. The delicious appetizers range from an apple pie parfait to BBQ wings.
