Hot desserts conjure up visions of ooey-gooey deliciousness, usually after a meal, but they certainly can also be a just-for-fun snack. Desserts can be pure decadence or something warmly delicious to be enjoyed as pure comfort food. A myriad of Boston restaurants offer a wide selection of hot desserts to die for. Pick the venue or pick the dessert to please the taste buds and satisfy a sweet tooth. Whether pure chocolate, a warm and rich pudding or a fun, traditional dessert around a fire pit, each choice of a delicious dessert is waiting to be enjoyed at one of the many popular, and sometimes not so popular, restaurants in Boston.

The Aragosta Bar and Bistro is located in The Battery Wharf Hotel, which sits right on the edge of Boston Harbor. The unique urban campfires at the Aragosta's fire pits provide a fun outside activity to create a warm, luscious dessert. Make your own s'mores around an outdoor fire pit on The Terrace using the traditional marshmallow, graham crackers and chocolate, then add in a specialty item like bananas and/or Reese's Peanut Butter Cups to create a unique and delicious dessert.

Finale is known for the simple fact, in their words, that they "serve desserts, drinks and small plates." There is table service and carry-out available at the restaurant for their all-natural-ingredient dessert menu choices. The baked-to-order molten chocolate is the most popular (and decadent) dessert at Finale. This is a warm chocolate cake with a rich and gooey center that is served with coffee gelato, chocolate-covered almonds and a premium chocolate sauce made with French Valrhona premium chocolate. Every bite is a deliciously sweet treat.
