Boston Strong – A City's Triumph over Tragedy

After the Boston Marathon bombings, we've all heard and seen the words "Boston Strong" all around us - this is how we define our city and our people. On this edition of Centro, we tell you about a brand new book also titled "Boston Strong" which is getting great reviews and it's already a national best seller! The book was written by two local authors and it tells the story through the eyes of law enforcement, first responders and survivors. You can read stories told by key players, such as the iconic Carlos Arredondo - also known as the "man with the cowboy hat" and Javier Pagan, the Latino police officer who was also instrumental in saving the lives of victims on that dreadful day. WBZ's Yadires Nova-Salcedo talks with "Boston Strong" co-authors, Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge. Tune in!
