Improv can be hilarious, but it's not always kid-friendly. ImprovBoston has remedied that with their Family Show, where kids are welcome to join the group on stage. Since it's unscripted, it's never the same show twice. They recommend the show for ages four and up.

The 27th Annual Bread & Roses Festival celebrates the labor history and diversity of Lawrence, MA. Enjoy ethnic dances, food, music, and entertainment including the Angkor Dance Troupe and the Bread & Puppet Theater. There will be walking and trolley tours, as well. The festival, named after the infamous "Bread and Roses" labor strike of 1912, continues to highlight issues of social justice.

This marks the 30th anniversary of King Richard's Faire, a massive Renaissance Festival. Come in costume, or as you are, but be prepared for street performers, artisans, games of skill, jousting tournaments, comedy acts, and giant turkey legs.
