This Bills Fan Fail Sums Up The Patriots Game Perfectly
As a sports fan, there are few things better than seeing cocky opponents get their comeuppance.
Patriots Nation had a nice victory lap Sunday after the Patriots beat the Bills 40-32, led by Tom Brady's record-setting performance: 466 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, no interceptions.
That vaunted, highly paid Bills defensive front? Barely got to Brady at all. Even when Brady held on to the ball, the pass protection was surprisingly strong. It's disappointing that the defense let up in the fourth and let the Bills back into the game, but the final score is not indicative of how most of the game went.
The ultra-satisfying win came after a week filled with Bills players bloviating about how much they hate the Patriots, how they think it's their year, etc. And of course, Rex Ryan came out with his typical bluster.
The fans shared their team's confidence, and understandably so, but now it would be a bad look. The below video pretty much sums up not just the game, but the entire week leading up to Patriots - Bills.
Watch this guy funnel a beer, then go for an RKO on a dummy dressed in Patriots gear - only to completely whiff and land flat on his back. He had all the confidence in the world, went in for the kill, and came up woefully short. A perfect summation of Week 2.
