Air Station Cape Cod Getting New Hangar
BOURNE (AP) -- Air Station Cape Cod is getting a new aircraft hanger.
The contract for the $23.5 million hanger at the Coast Guard station has been awarded to California-based Tutor Perini Corp.
The company said in press release earlier this month that the hangar will be built by its Framingham-based subsidiary.
The project is set to be built in phases and includes hangar space for four patrol aircraft, maintenance shops and engineering and administration offices.
The hangar is expected to eventually include a communications and command center.
