BOSTON (CBS) -The confetti and balloons have been cleaned up, the band has gone home.

There's a little distance now from the race for governor in Massachusetts.  The poll that counted -- the actual vote -- gave Deval Patrick a 49% to 42% victory over Republican Charlie Baker.

But a poll released after the election breaks it down.

The MassINC Polling Group's survey finds Baker had a 13 percent advantage over Patrick among male voters, and he won by 14% among unenrolled voters.   The bad news is that he lost among democrats, picking up 14% of the vote, and was down 24 points among female voters.
