7 BU Students Hospitalized After Allston Fire
ALLSTON (CBS) - Seven Boston University students were taken to the hospital after a fire ripped through a building on Linden Street in Allston on Sunday morning.
Steve MacDonald, the Boston Fire Department spokesman, spoke to WBZ NewsRadio 1030:

Firefighters arrived to the scene shortly after 7 a.m.
"As soon as the firefighters left the firehouse in Allston, they saw the heavy smoke. Immediately on arrival, they went to a second alarm because this just was a lot of fire showing," said MacDonald.
All seven residents escaped the blaze and were hospitalized. Two residents jumped from the upper floors, and one suffered critical injuries.
There were four apartments in the building. The home is a total loss.
The cause of the fire is not known.
Damage to the building is estimated at $500,000.
