4 Teens Arrested For Setting Massive Mill Fire In Haverhill
HAVERHILL (CBS) – Four juveniles have been arrested for allegedly setting the fire that destroyed a mill in Haverhill Sunday night.
The four suspects, aged 14, 15, 15, and 16 are being charged with burning of a building and will be arraigned in Lawrence District Court.
The fire at 30 Stevens Street started around 5:00 pm. Sunday and quickly grew to seven alarms. The building was a total loss.
"This case has come to a swift and successful conclusion because of good old-fashioned police work among a number of agencies and importantly, assistance from the community," State Fire Marshal Stephen Coan said.
The suspects' names have not been released.
