Winthrop Harbormaster On Paid Leave
BOSTON (CBS) - Winthrop's Harbormaster is off the job.
The town has placed Charles Famolare on administrative leave with pay.
The i-Team first broke the story last May.
Chief correspondent Joe Shortsleeve found that Famolare spent many hours working at his catering business in South Boston when he should have been on Winthrop Harbor.
The i-Team also reported that Famolare was being investigated for having more than $9,000 worth of work done on his private waterfront dock at tax payer expense.
