11-Year-Old Composer's First Symphony Premieres This Weekend
NEEDHAM (CBS) - She's just 11 years old, but one young local pianist and composer has already played to sold-out Carnegie Hall.
Now, Anna Larsen of Needham has written her very own symphony and it will debut this weekend.
She has been composing since she was 6 years old.

This weekend, her first symphony will premiere with Newton's "New Philharmonia Orchestra."

Those performances are Saturday and Sunday at the "First Baptist Church" in Newton Centre.
