You Can See A Harvest Moon Tonight, Full Moon On Halloween
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- October is a Blue Moon Month!
There will be two full moons this month- with the first being the Harvest Moon, which appears Thursday night soon after 5 p.m.
As its the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox, that makes it the Harvest Moon.
In most years it falls in September, but this one is in October, making it a Blue Moon Month.
The second full moon arrives on October 31- just in time for Halloween!
