TGIF!!!
Hi Everyone!
A little misty this morning, but mild. Didn't even wear an overcoat in to work. Now granted I leave the house, and get in a car. Then park at WJZ and walk right in, so it is not like I am outside a lot. Ergo no overcoat but here is where I am going.
Ya think humans can adapt…let's prove some of Darwin right, right now--38 degrees this AM and I said, "mild?" Heck 3 months ago if we fell to 38 we would be dressed in layers with hand and feet warmers in our gloves and shoes. And that would just be to take the dog out.
So if 38 this day start is mild what do we call 60 on Sunday?

I have been doing this weather gig a long time, 38 years to be exact, and I will guarantee someone will come up to me and say it is too warm for the season. Believe it. So what should my answer be?
- A) Adapt
- B) Really?
- C) Welcome to Venus
- D) All of the above.
Fact of the matter is some folks really thrive on chillier temps, and that is a beautiful thing too. And they will adapt to Sunday's 60 nicely. (That Darwin was onto something) They will also be in their zone again by early next week as temps will return to more January like conditions.
What we are talking about here is a temp roller coaster that now is in our favor. I think we can all agree last years "Polar Vortex' was way too extreme, and I am holding my breath it does not happen again. time will tell. (That about pushed my adaptive powers to the breaking point). But for now we are trending milder. Right now.
Some rain tonight, more rain tomorrow night. I will adapt to that too, it beats the word snow.
Time now to go Darwin and adapt to a couple of days off. Weekend here we come. Ya'll have a great one.
