Police: Three Hospitalized In String Of Shootings Sunday Night
BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- Three men were hospitalized with gunshot wounds following a trio of shootings, including an armed robbery gone wrong, across Baltimore Sunday night, according to police.
Before 10:30 p.m., police dispatched to a report of gunfire in the 3100 block of East Monument Street found a 36-year-old man who had been shot in the arm with a graze wound to his chest.
He had been sitting in his vehicle when a group of men confronted him, one of them demanding cash. When the victim didn't hand over any money, police said, the suspect shot him and took off.
Minutes later, officers were called to the scene of a shooting in the 900 block of East 41st Street where they found a 33-year-old man who had been shot once in the leg.
Hours earlier, officers responding to a reported shooting in the 7000 block of McClean Boulevard about 7 p.m. found a 24-year-old man who had been shot in the chest.
All three victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
