Police: Guns Stolen At UPS Facility, Worker Charged
SPARKS, Md. (AP) -- Police say a UPS worker is facing charges after handguns were taken from a package at a UPS facility in Baltimore County.
Officers were called to the UPS facility on York Road in Sparks on Tuesday after police say a security guard stopped the worker and found a handgun taped to each of his legs. Police say the guns were taken from a package at the facility.
Police say detectives discovered that the worker, 27-year-old Eric Bruneau of Parkville, also had two handguns that were stolen from the same facility in June.
Bruneau was charged with four counts of possession of a stolen regulated firearm and released on $25,000 bail.
Police say the incident remains under investigation by the department's gun squad.
