2 Children Seriously Hurt In Police Involved Crash
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) -- A two-car crash involving a police officer in Anne Arundel County is under investigation.
Authorities say a car smashed into the side of a Howard County police officer as he was making a U turn in Glen Burnie.
A four-year-old boy and 11-year-old girl were inside that vehicle.
They were flown to Johns Hopkins with life-threatening injuries.
Two adults were also taken to the hospital. Their injuries are said to be only minor.
Traffic was backed up for a time at Route 100 East and Route 10 South.
So far, no charges have been filed.
