Mass Casualty Incident Involves 23 Juvenile Patients on Route 29
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- More than two dozen people were transported to the hospital after a crash involving two 15-person passenger vans on Route 29 Thursday morning.
A total of 25 patients have been transported to the hospital, 23 of them kids between the ages of 12 and 14, according to Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service spokesman Pete Piringer.
They all have non-life-threatening injuries.
It happened at the intersection with Musgrove Road south of Burtonsville. There are still traffic delays in that area as a result.
