A Baltimore man was arrested for impersonating a police officer during a traffic stop in Prince George's County, according to Maryland State Police.

On Sunday, April 20, troopers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had expired registration tags on Route 50 in Bowie.

Troopers saw several items inside the car that looked like police gear, including a bulletproof vest with "POLICE" written on it, a belt with loaded magazines, handcuffs, pepper spray and a handgun that was later determined to be a BB gun.
