Police: Man Tries To Lure Female Student Into Woods Near Catonsville High
CATONSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- Parents at one Baltimore County school are being warned after a man attempts to lure a female student.
It happened just off campus Tuesday night near Catonsville High School.
The student told police she was walking along Bloomsbury Avenue when a man tried to lure her into the woods.
She immediately ran the opposite direction and called police.
In a robocall, the school's principal assured parents that student safety is the most important priority.
Counselors were available for students Wednesday. Teachers also discussed the incident in class.
A police Investigation into the incident is ongoing.
