Man, 57, arrested for series of dine-and-dash incidents throughout Baltimore County
A man has been arrested for a series of dine-and-dash incidents throughout Baltimore County beginning on April 8.
Baltimore County Police say detectives linked 57-year-old Randy Nelson to at least five instances in which he left restaurants without paying in the White Marsh and Parkville area.
Charges for Nelson remain pending as police continue their investigation.
Previous dine-and-dash incidents
Nelson allegedly caused a scene at a restaurant in Timonium on Friday afternoon after he was asked to pay his tab and to leave.
Officers say they were called to the 2300 block of York Road at 2:55 p.m. for reports of a disturbance, where staff members informed them that Nelson had become "irate" after being ordered out.
Following previous incidents, including a disorderly conduct scenario at a hotel, Nelson became known to law enforcement officers.
Last week, Massoni's Italian Restaurant in Perry Hall took to Facebook to warn other businesses of Nelson after becoming a victim of the serial dine-and-dasher.
