Fire Causes $10K In Damage To Museum In Washington County

HANCOCK, Md. (WJZ) -- A faulty light fixture is blamed for a fire at a museum in Washington County.

It broke out just after 10 a.m. on Friday inside the building in Hancock.

The fire caused about $10,000 in damage to items inside the museum before being contained.

It started in a fixture in the ceiling.
