Douglas Bruce Sentenced To 2 Years For Probation Violation

DENVER (CBS4) - Former State Representative Douglas Bruce will spend two years in prison for violating his probation.

Bruce was convicted in 2012 of tax evasion and trying to influence a public servant.

A Denver judge ruled he violated probation by not disclosing his financial dealings.

Bruce continues to claim he's innocent, and says he's been targeted by the government because of his role in passing the taxpayer's bill of rights.
