Who benefits from Obama’s expansion of overtime pay?
President Barack Obama intends to use his executive authority to expand overtime pay to millions of Americans who aren't getting it. Under federal law, businesses can deny overtime wages to any manager or supervisor who earns more than $455 a week. The president will raise that threshold to anywhere between $550 and $970.
