U.S. GDP reaches pre-pandemic levels as initial jobless claims fall
The Labor Department says 400,000 Americans filed first-time unemployment claims last week, down 24,000 from the previous week. And the Commerce Department reports the nation's gross domestic product has reached pre-pandemic levels.
