Biden signs bill to avert rail strike

President Joe Biden signed legislation Friday to impose a labor agreement on rail unions, averting a nationwide disruption of rail service during the holidays. "If rail had shut down, it would have devastated our economy," Mr. Biden said at the White House before signing the legislation. He acknowledged the measure lacks the paid sick leave that rail workers wanted, "but that fight isn't over." Watch his remarks.
