2/25: GM expands ignition switch recall, says it's linked to 13 deaths; Fertility procedure raises concerns of "designer babies"

General Motors is nearly doubling the number of vehicles it is recalling to fix ignition switches that can shut off engines and cause crashes; and, the FDA began two days of meetings about a controversial procedure that removes a mother's nucleus from her egg, leaving behind defective genes, and places it in a donor egg.
