Virginia teacher who was shot by 6-year-old student awarded $10 million in civil case

A jury awarded a former Virginia teacher who was shot by a 6-year-old student $10 million in a civil lawsuit against the school's former assistant principal. Abby Zwerner was shot in her classroom at Richneck Elementary School in January 2023.
