Pope Leo XIV is in Barcelona this morning, continuing his week long tour of Spain. Last night, more than 40,000 people gathered at the city's Olympic Stadium to attend a prayer vigil led by the pontiff. CBS News foreign correspondent Chris Livesay is there.

Greetings from Montserrat. It is the mountain Abbey outside of Barcelona, Spain, that's been drawing Catholic pilgrims for centuries. And today, well, you can add Pope Leo to the list. Yesterday, the Pope capped off three days in Madrid, and arrived in Barcelona in Grand fashion. The pilot inviting him inside the cockpit, where the Chicago native got a pretty good view of the landscape and his fighter jet escort. The Pope clearly getting a kick out of it. On the ground in Barcelona, he held a prayer vigil, where he blessed ambulances on their way to Ukraine, and promoted the value of mental health. Not the kind of thing you necessarily expect to hear from a Pope. But the showstopper comes later today at the Sagrada Família. Leo is expected to celebrate mass, inaugurating a new tower, and marking the centenary of the death of Antoni Gaudi, the visionary architect behind the world's tallest church. And after days of will they, won't they, the Vatican revealed last night that the Pope met with Bad Bunny. The pop star was on tour in Madrid during the papal trip. Now, it was a private meeting between the Pope and the pop star, so no photos. When I asked the pope's spokesman why that was, he told me that sometimes that even the Pope and superstars just want their privacy. Back to you.
