NASA renames street "Hidden Figures Way" to honor black female mathematicians
For decades, the three African-American mathematicians whose efforts ultimately helped put men on the moon received little recognition for their contributions to the space program. On Wednesday, NASA acknowledged their role by renaming a block in front of its headquarters "Hidden Figures Way." The women's stories were featured in the 2016 film "Hidden Figures."
