Florida Legislature passes bill banning abortion after 6 weeks

The Florida Legislature on Thursday passed a state Senate bill which bans abortions after six weeks of pregnancy. Under the language of the bill, physicians could be charged with a third-degree felony. It now heads to the desk of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for his signature.
