Hispanic customer upset by joke on Starbucks cup she found offensive
A Hispanic immigrant in Irving says she felt targeted and offended after receiving a Starbucks cup with a handwritten joke that read, “What do you call a sick eagle? Illegal.” The woman, who was visiting the Starbucks inside a Target store with her two daughters, said the message felt personal and inappropriate, especially given her recent experiences with loved ones facing deportation.
