Freezing air drops south, bringing ice toward the DFW area

As of 10 p.m. Friday, ice is already coating roads in Bowie and parts of northern Fort Worth, and temperatures continue to fall. McKinney is close to switching from rain to freezing precipitation, and colder air is pushing toward the Metroplex. Heavier ice remains north of DFW, but conditions are expected to worsen overnight.
