First Indian American sworn in to Frisco City Council

Burt Thakur was elected to Frisco's city council last month. He's a military veteran, he joined the Navy months before 9/11, and he's a game show winner, winning the very last episode of Jeopardy hosted by Alex Trebek. Indian Americans make up 15% of Frisco's population.
