Federal government begins pulling agents from Minnesota as ICE operations continue amid tension
Federal officials announced that 700 agents will withdraw from Minnesota following weeks of tension after two U.S. citizens were killed by federal agents. Roughly 2,000 officers will remain as ICE operations continue. The drawdown, according to border czar Tom Homan, depends on an end to what he calls threatening activity toward ICE. Democrats are pushing to fund DHS for a full year and some are calling for the removal of the Homeland Security secretary.
