Colorful "yarn bombers" turn downtown McKinney into a kids’ scavenger hunt
A new wave of public art is brightening North Texas as the Dallas Yarn Bombers wrap trees, lampposts, and benches in vibrant knitted designs. Their latest installation in downtown McKinney features six “monster benches,” and kids are being urged to find them all before the weekend — because once it rains, the yarn gets heavy and starts to sag.
