Celebration of life to be held in honor of Texas aviation pioneer Wally Funk
Wally Funk, an aviation pioneer who became the oldest woman to travel to space, will be honored and celebrated at a Celebration of Life event on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at White's Chapel Methodist Church in Southlake. Funk died in July 2026 at age 87.
