Carroll ISD considers campus closure to cut costs and address enrollment decline

Carroll ISD is considering closing Durham Intermediate School in 2027 due to declining enrollment and funding, a move that could save more than $2 million. If approved, fifth and sixth-graders would be reassigned to other campuses.
