25 Mexican National Guard troops killed after cartel leader's death
Mexico Security Secretary Omar García Harfuch said Monday that 25 members of the National Guard were left dead in Jalisco in six separate attacks after the killing of Jalisco New Generation Cartel leader Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes. In total, at least 73 people died in Mexico's attempt to capture the notorious leader, including security forces, suspected cartel members and others.
