Court documents said the case was stayed pending a ruling by the Supreme Court of Maryland on consolidated appeals on the constitutionality of the Maryland Child Victims Act of 2023.
The 47-year-old won 16 world championships over his nearly 20 years in the WWE, going toe-to-toe with the likes of Kurt Angle, Triple H and Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson.
His resignation comes after a lawsuit by a former employee accusing McMahon and another WWE employee of sexually assaulting her.
Netflix will air the WWE's most-watched show, as well as other specials and pay-per-view events, beginning in January.
His family called him "an iconic figure who left an incredible mark on the world of professional wrestling" in a statement.
The fun continues in Dallas and Arlington through Monday.
