Kosoul Chanthakoummane was on parole when 40-year-old Sarah Walker was killed in July 2006.
The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals has delayed the execution of Melissa Lucio so a lower court can review her case.
She's one of six women on death row in Texas, and the only one who is Hispanic. As things stand, Melissa Lucio will head to the execution chamber on April 27th.
