Windy & Warm Tomorrow Before a Cold Front Arrives
COLD FRONT ON TRACK FOR TOMORROW AFTERNOON...
Sunshine has broken out for parts of North Texas today. It certainly started out cloudy and dreary. Clouds will actually increase overnight with breezy south winds keeping temps in the mid 60s for overnight lows. The clouds today and tonight are still part of the upper level moisture coming off of Hurricane Paul which is now impacted the Baja Peninsula of Mexico. But, sunshine will emerge sooner tomorrow than today. Strong Southwest winds will blow thru the day and that combined with sunshine will boast temperatures into the upper 80s!
The cold front, though, will push thru the area during the afternoon. It won't really have an impact on our temperatures until later tomorrow night. But the front will shift the winds to the NW during the late afternoon hours. No rain with this front as the atmosphere will be too dry.
CHILLY MORNINGS...
Temperatures will be on the chilly side Thursday and Friday mornings as temperatures start in the low 50s and upper 40s both mornings. The afternoons will be beautiful with sunny skies and temperatures near 80 degrees on Thursday and Friday.
WEEKEND WARM UP...
Winds will pick back up out of the south for the weekend and warm temperatures into the mid 80s on Saturday and Sunday. Morning lows will be a little warmer generally starting in the 60s Saturday and Sunday morning.
